Proper Food Combination

Lunch-TunaSalad

We eat food in the following combinations:

– vegs and carbohydrates

– vegs and protein (meat at lunch, not for dinner, since meat takes so much longer to digest)

– fruits, raw, and never with carbs or proteins

– melons by itself (hubby has been off watermelons because of the high sugar content)

– nuts by itself and almonds (after being soaked, in case of mold and to reduce acidity- if I remember that one correctly)

CONCLUSION: I no longer buy store ready salad dressings – so many contain corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, soy, peanuts, nuts, sweeteners, there are good ones out there but it’s just as easy to make  a salad ahead of time and let the veggies marinate in a simple base of lime or lemon juice, flaxseed oil, some Braggs seasoning, seaweed granules. granulesnobits.
