Dinner Not For Everyone



Kale – slivered

Carrots – julienned

Hummus (see Hubby’s Hummus under Recipes)

Sesame Cracker (see Healthy Snacks under Food for Thought)

Toss kale, carrots (add cilantro, onions etc. – I was too lazy tonight) with flax seed oil, Braggs amino acid, sea salt and lots of lemon or lime juice.   If you let this sit for at least an hour, the kale will be easier to chew.   If you are not used to raw kale, the flavor is very “green”.

Like I said, this is a quick dinner, and we eat it when we are really out of time, certainly not for its unique flavor.
